Kahar

 In the 5th year of the Kingdom of Goldenshield, the Marquis of the Realm began construction of The King's Road across the Hamakhaave Desert to protect and defend Goldenshield Kingdom from the goblinoid menace from the south.  Eight years later, he completed the King's Road and established three desert fortresses to maintain the Road and protect the Kingdom.
 Kahar is one of three desert fortresses that protects the King's Road during the Dark Crusades.

 Below is the descriptions of each encounter as rolled on the Friendly Encounter Table:
EncounterDescription
2 Commoners with horse and cart These 2 Commoners are transporting weapons, ammunition, rations, and water, to specific sites.  They travel in the dark but their cart is equipped with a hanging lantern.  The human driving the cart is named Dar and his dwarf companion who holds up a great shield is Grin.  There are two arrows sticking out of the cart but the horse and both commoners are uninjured.  At the first sign of trouble, they will shout out "Mtumbe" and expect a coherant answer.  Roll 3d8 for their identifying number, and they will respond to calls of "Mtumbe" with "Mtumbe # rolled".
